Yesterday I shared the fun Bunny Brew project with you – today I wanted to show you this fun Peeps pocket project!
These Peeps are big – here is a comparison picture with a normal size Peep!
I got the large size Peeps at my local Walgreens store. They came individually or in a three pack. I thought he was cute – but felt he needed a Peeps Pocket to be presented in! I did one of these pockets last fall for a ghost peep – you can view that post here.
To make the pocket, I cut a piece of Strawberry Slush Designer Paper 5" x 12" and folded it in half. I placed it in the big shot as shown in the above photo.
After cutting, it looks like this when opened up – because we cut with the folded edge just inside the framelit, we now have 2 connected framelits to form into a pocket for our Peep.
I folded it back in half, and then folded the front edge down to meet the bottom edge.
Then I fold it back up to meet the pocket.
The bunny is in a medium cello bag and secured with a piece of Washi Tape on the back. To make the pocket I just placed the bunny in the pocket and wrapped a piece of Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon around it. I decorated the pouch with the fun egg from the Eggstra Spectacular stamp set and the Extra-Large Oval Punch.
Here is the Peep at the place setting!
