Whip-it Wednesday - Simple You're Lovely Card

Welcome to Whip-it Wednesday! This is the day I like to showcase quick projects, you know, the ones you need to whip out fast. This day is named in honor of my dog, who is a Whippet (similar to a Greyhound in appearance, but smaller).

Here is Bella the Whippet "helping" me write a blog post one night in bed. As you can see, she is a big help – ha!

Today's card uses the Big Shot, the Deco Label Framelits, and one of the stamp sets that is available for free with a $50 order through the end of March.

The set is called You're Lovely and it's, well… lovely!

I colored the flowers in with the Blender Pen and the Crisp Cantaloupe ink pad. To do this just keep the ink pad closed, Squeeze down on the lid a few times so that it connects to the ink pad on the inside. Then when you open the lid, you will have a pool of ink to color from.

The stamp set is the perfect match for the Deco Labels Collection Framelits. I used the smallest size, which matches the stamps perfectly, and then the next larger size to do the frame.

I decorated the envelope to match by using the envelope framelits and the Sweet Sorbet Designer Paper to cut a matching liner for the envelope.
