I love this fun technique using the Fringe Scissors – and these colors just make me happy! Can't you just picture the smile this card would cause when you give it to a friend?! Best of all, it is easy to make – I have a short video below where I walk you through it!
Here is a close up of the "fringe". I used Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe.
TIP: For perfect fringe use the middle of the scissors to cut and stop before you close them all the way. If you close them all the way the card stock tends to tear a bit.
The patterned paper at the top of the card is from the lovely Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper pack. I've used lots of the other patterns in that package but I guess I've been hoarding this one – lol! Time to put it to good use and send it out to brighten someone's day!!
The greeting is from the Peachy Keen stamp set (naturally!). I stamp it near the edge of the Whisper White card stock and used the 2 1/2" circle punch to punch it out – which gave me a half circle with my greeting.
