I have several things to share today! The first is a super fast Whip-it Wednesday project that you could give a grad or a group of grads. These graduation cap Rolo treats are quick and easy to make! See below for the list of supplies.
Of course, you could sweeten the deal by throwing in a "diploma" with the treat. I went with that tried and true grad gift – cash!
If you have a bit more time, why not "upcycle" that old Stampin' Up! embellishment container into a cute graduation hat box to hold your gifties?!
The inside greeting is from the Pomp & Circumstance stamp set in the Occasions Catalog. It is not in the new catalog so this is your last chance to pick up this cute set!
This is what the box looks like when it is closed. Dawn Olchefske has a great video on how to make the tassel out of Baker's Twine. Click here to watch it. I wanted my tassel to be a bit longer so I used a 17" piece and two 6" pieces to make my tassel. I also increased the template to 1 1/2" wide so that my tassel strands would be longer.
Check out the supply list below and stop in the store to pick up the items you need for this project!
