A bright and cheerful birthday card for you today using the Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper! Remember today is the last chance to take advantage of the "Buy Three, Get One Free" Designer Series Paper Sale! Which four papers would I choose for this sale? Scroll down for my favorites! I love the fun patterns and bright colors in the Confetti Celebration paper! It makes me happy!
This Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set is fun because you can build your own greetings right on you clear block and then just stamp the resulting "sentence".
Which is what I did here for the inside of the card. Each of these are a separate stamp, but I mounted all three on my clear block and stamped it in one go.
Here are the four Designer Series Papers that I would pick for this sale. Back to Black (see sample card here), Lullaby (see sample here), Confetti Celebration, and Park Lane (see sample here).
The Rhinestone adds the perfect accent to our "i" in birthday! Scroll to the bottom of the page to see all of the supplies used on this card.
A quick note on the birthday cake "polka dots". I achieved this effect by placing a regular size post it note along one edge of the cake to "mask" the outside part of the cake and to keep the polka dots just on the cake. You can see a short video about how to do this made by my friend Dawn Olchefske by clicking here. I loved Dawn's card and just adapted the colors to use it with the Confetti Celebration paper.
