Happy Whip-It Wednesday to you all! A Halloween card today with cute witch shoes – pretty easy to do with your Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and some punches. Scroll down for the picture tutorial!
The shoes come from the top note die! I cut one in Basic Black and cut it into four sections.
You only need two of the sections to make the shoes.
Next take your 1 1/4" circle punch and "scoop out" (put the punch about halfway in) the top of the shoe. Then use the 1" circle punch to do the same for the ankle part of the shoe.
I wanted to give my witch heels – so I used the tip of the Tree Punch to do that.
One shoe ready! Now repeat that with the other shoe.
The "leggings" are from the Typeset Designer Series Paper – I cut them at 3/4" wide by 3" long, then trimmed off any excess that stuck out past the top of the card. The bows are made with some altered Tangelo Twist ribbon.
I cut the Tangelo Twist ribbon in half to make it narrower, and then you get the bonus of the cool fraying which looks great on this card!
The set Tee-Hee-Hee from the Holiday Catalog has the perfect greeting! It is stamped on a piece that has been cut out with the Apothecary Accents framelit and accented with Neutral Candy Dots. The entire piece is popped up on Dimensionals.
Two more images from the stamp set are perfect for the inside of the card.
Special thank you to my friend and fellow demonstrator Terry Brinkmann for this card idea! I hope you all have a wonderful Halloween!!
And here is our Whippet mascot, Bella enjoying a beautiful fall walk. Thanks for stopping by today.
