The holidays are coming! Plan ahead this year and make a gaggle (a herd? a hoard?) of darling Santa boxes and Santa gift card holders with the Fry Box Die and Mustache Framelit! The Mustache Framelit is part of this weeks WEEKLY DEALS – get it for less! Scroll to the bottom of this post for ALL the weekly deals. For the picture tutorial for this project, just scroll down!
The beard comes from the Labels Collection framelits, 4th size in from the outside. I cut it out of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper, and then cut it in half. Wow, this paper really sparkles!! So "Christmasy"!
For the belt, I cut a 5 1/2" x 3/4" strip of Basic Black card stock, then I laid it on the Fry Box die in the approximate location that I wanted the belt, and cut it out with the Big Shot. The buckle is a 1" square of Silver Glimmer Paper and a 3/4" square of Basic Black. When you use the Fry Box die, use a Premium Crease pad in place of the top cutting pad – this will give you the nice scoring for the creases.
All the sizes are the same, whether you are making the box OR the gift card holder. The only difference is the assembly. To make the gift card holder, follow the steps below:
Ready for a gift card!
Or you can just assemble the box as is and fill with lovely treats – like these white chocolate truffles!
