This was such a fun card to make! The Wood You Be Mine stamp set is cleverly designed with a solid "shirt" stamp that allows you to stamp over the plaid base design of the shirt so that you can quickly have the color shirt of your choice!
I decided to pair this masculine set with the Hardwood background stamp (another great masculine stamp choice). I also used the new Confetti Heart Punch in the upper corner to add some extra love to this card.
The saying "Wood You Be Mine" is all on one stamp, I chose to punch out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch just the words "Wood You" for the front of the card….
…and for the inside of the card I punched out the "Be Mine" for the inside of the card. The wonderful tree border stamp comes in the set too.
Now for the fun part – coloring with Blendabilities! I stamped the lumberjack image in Memento Ink and colored him with:
- Skintone Assortment (Blush for cheeks, Nude for face and arms, Bronze for the boots, axe handle, and eyebrows. The beard was Bronze and Nude blended together).
- Smoky Slate (Axe head, hat, socks, and jeans).
