I had so much fun playing with the October 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit: Blissful Bouquet! I wanted to make up some thank you cards to send to my subscribers – easy to do with this great kit!
Lots of cards! Scroll down for photos and information each.
This kit was LOADED with fun stuff!!
I cut out one of the little flowers from the pre-printed floral circle and popped it up on a dimensional. The Basic Black Satin ribbon adds some "pop"! Pretty colorful envelopes were part of the kit!
I cut the printed leaf square down to 2 3/4" x 2 3/4". For the "Thanks" piece I flipped the olive greeting banner over and trimmed off the ends.
I used one of the fabulous 13 stamps that came with this kit to do the background! The greeting is stamped on the olive banner and then I curled it with a bone folder and popped it up on dimensionals.
Do you recognize the background on this card? It is from the tissue paper that comes in the kit each month! The technique I used is called….
…faux silk. First I cut a square of the tissue paper that was a bit larger then my card. Then I scrunched up the tissue to form wrinkles and smoother it out again. I used a glue stick and covered the note card with glue, then I attached the tissue paper. I trimmed off the excess that hung over the edges. I used a circle punch to punch out a single flower from the pre-printed flower circle piece.
The Calypso Coral ink pad makes the greeting "pop".
Dressed up with a doily!
Normally the Paper Pumpkin kits come in bright red/orange boxes. However this month they came in bright pink boxes – and $1 for every subscriber was donated to Breast Cancer research.
If you would like to give Paper Pumpkin a try you can do it two ways. You can purchase a gift certificate for a one month subscription by clicking here OR you can subscribe for monthly kits by clicking here.
Here is our Whip-it Wednesday mascot, Bella The Whippet. Cold weather is coming to Minnesota, Bella is preparing for it by diving under all the blankets! Stay warm and happy stamping!
