Happy Whip-It Wednesday! I'm so excited to show you today's adorable project!! The recipe for the cocoa mix is below and details on how to make the mouse!
I designed these cuties originally for my Valentine Treat Holder Class in early February, they were a hit! Stampin' Up! sells these cute polka dot cone bags (see them here) and the cocoa mix was the perfect filling. Layer the ingredients in this order: 2 TBS hot cocoa mix (such as Swiss Miss), 1 TBS sprinkles, 1 TBS mini chocolate chips, 2 TBS mini marshmallows.
I offered two options of tags – this one is more appropriate for a co-worker! The mouse is easy, and super cute! I punched a white heart with the Sweetheart punch and folded it in half. I glued white Baker's Twine between the layers for the tail. I drew the eye, whiskers, and nose with a marker – then I nipped the "point" off . The ears were from the Confetti Hearts Border Punch.
The recipient empties the entire contents into a mug, adds hot water. My son offered to taste test it for me – I guess he wanted to be really thorough because he made it again, and again…. apparently it is quite tasty!!
I made a whole pile of these cuties for some of my Stampfield Stars passionate paper crafters who were sharing their love of paper crafting at a group event. We have an exclusive community online where we gather and share with one another – it is so nice to have a safe place to gather where everyone is supportive, positive, and passionate about paper crafts! It is simple to join us – just purchase the starter kit deal (during Sale-a-bration you get $155 of product for $99). You can read more about that here or e-mail me any questions.
Happy National Flannel day from Bella, our official Whip-it Wednesday mascot!
