I'm excited to share this card layout with the Hexagon Punch! Sadly this fun punch is retiring – add it to your punch collection before it sells out! This layout is a perfect use for little scraps of paper.
To form the "window", I slid the punch all the way in a piece of 5 1/4" x 4" paper, and punched. I mounted this piece on my card base with dimensionals. I stamped my greeting, punched it out with the hexagon punch, put adhesive on the back and poked it through the hexagon hole for perfect alignment. For a video on this card visit my Facebook Business page and look for the post "Two Fun Cards From Breakfast Club".
I used the stamp set to stamp some fun hexagons for the inside of the card – love that look!
The paper I used is called Pretty Petals – what a great color combination! The finishing touch is the beautiful Calypso Coral Seam Binding Ribbon – which is on sale right now!! In fact all of the soft, easy to tie, seam binding ribbons are retiring so make sure you stock up on your favorite colors before they are gone.
Here is another card that I made using this paper – it is retiring soon and as of this writing was still in stock but will sell out soon. Click on the photo to read more about this card.
This layout would look great with other designer papers too – give it a try!

An update on my dog Bella the Whippet – she had her puppies last week ! Here is a picture that I took yesterday of the 8 puppies, 4 girls and 4 boys. Tune in tomorrow for the "Whip-It Wednesday" post to see more pictures of the pups and a great card.
