This card is a "recessed panel" card with the Presents & Pinecones designer paper and the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set. For the recessed panel layout you use a 1" x 5 1/2" strip of designer paper and adhere it to your card base (the card base is Emerald Envy in this example) about 1" down from the top fold. Then emboss a 1" x 5 1/2" and a 2 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Emerald Envy card stock with the Holly embossing folder. Next attach a 3/4" x 5 1/2" strip of Real Red card stock to each of the embossed Emerald Envy pieces. Raise them up with dimensionals when mounting to your card base. These causes the designer paper to be in a recessed area of the card which makes it stand out more.
I used the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set and coordinating punch to decorate my greeting – the berries are punched from red glimmer paper which makes them really sparkle!
For the inside of the card I also used the Tin of Tags stamp set – so fun!!
