Ready for some winter frolics? Welcome to our hop!
I have a cute fun fold card to share with you today called a fan fold card – instructions are below!
Start with a 5 1/2" x 10 1/2 piece of card stock. Place the long edge so it is across the top of the score board and score it at every 1 1/2". Crease each fold well with the bone folder to accordion fold the piece – this forms the spine of your card..
Lay three pieces of cardstock that are sized 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" side by side. Stamp the snowflake from Stitched with Cheer in Sweet Sugarplum ink as shown.
Stamp more random snowflakes to fill in the white spaces.
Adhere a strip of the Sweet Sugarplum envelope paper, 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" to the front of accordion folded "spine". Attach each snowflake panel to a 1 3/4" x 4" piece of Sweet Sugarplum. Using tear & tape or other strong adhesive, adhere this to the first layer of the accordion, on the far left
Now insert another panel on the far right side using tear & tape in one of the last accordion spots.
And use another piece of Tear & Tape to attach the last panel in the center, to one of the center accordion folds,
Wrap an 18" piece of White Organza ribbon around the top portion of the card and tie it with a knot. This ribbon serves as a belly band to hold the card closed….
Just slide the ribbon off to open the card. I embellished each panel with the Fancy Frost sequins adhered to mini glue dots.
For the back of the card cut two pieces of Envelope Paper 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" and a Whisper White center panel that is 1 1/2" x 2 1/4". I stamped the sparkle stamp and one of the many great greetings from the Stitched With Cheer Stamp Set in Sweet Sugarplum. This stamp set is retiring – make sure to pick yours up today!
Here is another version of the fan fold that I made using the Stitched with Cheer stamp set, the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set, and Cookie Cutter punch.
