My favorite kind of card today – simple but lovely! AND today is THE day! Twenty years ago today I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!! Memories of that below (along with some truly hideous scrapbook pages – oh my!). But first – I want to share some details on this lovely card (in the hope that you will not lose faith in my creative abilities after seeing the wild scrapbook pages below!)! The Designer Paper is called Whole Lot of Lovely and it is, well, lovely! When you have a stunningly beautiful paper like this I like to make it the focal point of the card and just add a simple greeting and a bow – perfection!
The inside of the card. I left the inside blank to write a note but added a leftover scrap of the paper to have some continuity from the front of the card on the inside.
The simple greeting is stamped on Whisper White card stock and cut out with one of the Stitched Shape Framelit Dies – love these!! The bow is made with the lovely Soft Sky 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon and attached with a glue dot.
These Stitched Shape dies add SO much to a card! The stitching is subtle but elegant and you get a LOT: four circles, four ovals, and four squares in one package!!
Dimensions for this card: Soft Sky 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", Pear Pizzazz 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", Whole Lot of Lovely DSP 3" x 4 1/4" & 3/4" x 4 1/4" (inside of card), Whisper White scrap and 3" x 4 1/4" (inside of card).
I had fun pulling my old scrapbooks – so many wonderful memories of friends and customers that I met through Stampin' Up! This was at the Stampin' Up! Convention in 1999 the year I earned my first Stampin' Up! cruise! I was SO excited! I'm with my friends Jamie and Kim who I met at my first convention in 1998.
Is this page loud enough for you – lol!! Fun with my fabulous young team (downline in those days) at the '99 convention! Love these ladies!
Another fabulous convention – gosh, we had SO much fun (still do)!! This page wins ugliest scrapbook page – what is up with those little jagged cut out stars!! Although I do like the Green Galore and Glorious Green.
Another convention, another million fun memories! The top picture is of me and the wonderful person who I joined Stampin' Up! with – Cherie Manderschied! She is the best!!
And just to save face, this is the most recent scrapbook page I have made – scrapbooking has come a long way in 20 years – hasn't it?! Thank you for joining me on this trip down memory lane!! And remember – my special offer ends tomorrow:
Note: This is a special offer from Susan Campfield, Independent Demonstrator, to celebrate by 20th anniversary as a demonstrator and is not a sale from Stampin' Up!
Two ways to take advantage of this great offer:
Option 1: Place an order in my online store by Saturday, August 19th, 2017 and enter host code MBUZ2ASH (if your order is over $150 do not use the host code so that you can get the stampin' rewards – you still get the 20% off rebate). The computer will charge you the full amount of the order and I will mail you a rebate check for the 20% off within 24 hours of your order being placed.
Option 2: Email, message, or hand me your order in person at one of my events this week (Technique Club or Breakfast Club). I will contact you for payment information if I do not already have your information on file.
CLICK HERE TO PLACE YOUR ORDER in my online store 24-7 or click any of the pictures below to go directly to that specific item online. When I use stamp sets for a project I give you both the wood and clear mount options – that way you and pick your favorite!
