This is the sketch challenge for today! I took a few liberties with the sketch to better fit the products I was working with – but the essence is there.
I used another limited edition product to color my flowers – the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2. These pencils are being offered in August, but may appear in a future publication. They are the perfect compliment to the Watercolor Pencils in our regular catalog.
I find watercolor pencils the easiest coloring medium to work with and highly recommend that you try them if you are new to coloring.
I stamped by image in Basic Gray ink on to Shimmery White cardstock. Then I colored the image with the Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, and Garden Green pencils. To blend the pencils and turn them into watercolor, I used the Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to add additional shimmer to the project.
