Welcome to our blog hop – this month we are Celebrating Winter!
I'm sharing this cute little treat box made with the gorgeous In The Woods Framelit Dies! Inside the box is a….tree! A Reese's Peanut Butter Tree that is!
It's always fun to decorate the back side of the box too! I used the Timeless Tidings stamp set (last chance to get this stamp set – it is retiring this month).
To make the box:
- Cut a piece of Thick Whisper White at 4” x 5 ½” and score at ½”, 2 ½”, 3”, 5” rotate and score at 3 ½”,
- Fold the scored piece of Thick Whisper White and remove the small, square from the bottom right corner. Then angle cut on the two remaining small squares.
- Place a piece of Tear and Tape on the long, slender rectangle on the right side. Assemble the box.
- Fold the bottom tabs in and place a piece of Tear & Tape on the bottom tab to close the box.
To decorate the box I used Gold Foil as a layer, then embossed a piece of white with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder, then die cut the two tree dies from the In The Woods Framelits. I used my Bone Folder to gently push out the cut sections inside tree – this adds a wonderful 3D effect! Metallic Pearls were the finishing touch!
You can also use this cute box idea for another fun winter holiday that is coming soon! This box features brand new suite called All My Love from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog!
And here is the back of the box!
Time to hope along to B.J. Peters to see her beautiful creation!
