Creative Inking Blog Hop: Sharing The Love

Blog Hop Title

I have a pretty-in-Petal-Pink Valentine (or wedding, or anniversary, or other "love" related theme) card to share with you today on our Sharing The Love themed Blog Hop!

Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper Meant To Be Rectangle Framelits - 6 (1)

I paired the Beautifully Detailed Laser-cut Specialty Paper with the Rectangle Framelits and the Meant To Be Bundle to create today's project.

When you order the Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper you get 8 12" x 12" sheets, 4 of each pattern.  This sheet is designed with 6 panels, 1 long border, and 4 narrow borders.  You just cut them apart to use on your projects!

Here is another card with the same layout, different panel (this was the panel with the oval).

You also get 4 12" x 12" sheets with this pattern – so gorgeous!  You can cut this one apart and use it the same way or cut out individual scrolls to embellish your card.

I placed one of the awesome new Rectangle Stitched Dies on a piece of Basic Black cardstock cut 4" x 5 1/4" and cut out a frame with the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.

These great framelits not only stitch the inside piece but also cut stitching on the outside piece, which is the one I needed for this project.

I placed my Laser-Cut paper on the back of the frame (pink side down) and attached it with Dimensionals.  As you can see, the back of the paper is white in case you prefer that over the Petal Pink side.

Next I layered another piece of Basic Black cardstock behind my "frame". And I was all set to add my embellishments!

Here is a peek at the inside of the card – I used the leftover scrap of Petal Pink from cutting out the heart for a frame on the inside of the card.

The heart image is from the beautiful stamp set Meant To Be.  I stamped it in VersaMark Ink and then embossed it with Black Stampin' Emboss Powder and melted the powder with the Heat Tool. I used the coordinating framelit to cut out the heart and it also cuts out a "bonus" scalloped heart frame!  I used two glue dots, folded in half at the top and bottom of the heart frame to attach it to the card.  I popped the heart image up on Dimensionals.  The finishing touch was one of the Faceted Dots in black.  Scroll down to the bottom of this page for the full list of supplies.
