I'm so excited to share this sweet little bag with you today! One of my team members, Anita Dickson, shared this fun project at my team meeting last week and I could not wait to try it out! I have directions below, or if you prefer a video tutorial check out my Facebook Live making this project.
This cute little box is small – just the perfect size to fit two mini Ghirardelli chocolates! The box is approximately 2 1/2' wide by 3 3/4" high. For comparison I took this photo with my paper snips!
For the bottom of the box start with a piece of cardstock 4" x 7 1/8". Place the short edge at the top of the trimmer and score it at 1". (I traced the score with a marker so you could see it better in the photo).
Now place the long edge at the top of the scoring tool and score at 2 3/8”, 2 7/8”, 3 3/8”, 5 ¾”, 6 ¼”, and 6 ¾”.
Remove the rectangle at the end completely as shown above. Then cut a small wedge out of each side of the center tabs.
The topper is next! I'm showing it in a neutral so that you can see the score lines – but use a pretty Designer Paper like the Needlepoint Nook that I used above! Start with a piece of Designer Paper that is 2 3/4" x 7 3/8". Lay the long edge at the top of the scoring tool and score at 1/2", 1", 3 1/2", 4" , 4 1/2", and 7". This adorable box was created and share by a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from the Netherlands, Mirande Utrecht at Creamade.com
I used Tear & Tape to assemble. If you would like to see a video of putting the box together, check out this Facebook Live video that I did tonight for the step by step assembly – I also share a cute card made with this paper in the video. I am doing a Facebook Live video every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. CT – hope you can join me next week!
Last chance to get this adorable Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper! It is only available while supplies last and will be gone for good on June 3rd (if it does not sell out before then)! Thanks so much for visiting – happy papercrafting!
