I have a trio of sweet Daisy cards to share with you today! The pink and yellow flowers (and all of the leaves) are made with the new Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock, the new medium Daisy punch, and the Daisy Lane stamp set! The vellum gives them a such a soft and feathery look! Scroll down for more photos and a video of how the card goes together.
I curled the flower petals with the bone folder – this simple technique really brings the flower to life – but do it very gently so that you don't rip the petals! The flower center comes from the large daisy in the Daisy Lane stamp set. I stamped it on a skinny strip of white cardstock (making sure the flower center made it on to the strip) and then punched it out with the 1/2" circle punch.
I designed this trio of cards for my Stamp-A-Stack events that I held last week, the attendees made 12 cards total, including this trio! I'm looking forward to sharing the rest of the cards with you in the coming weeks on my blog!
After recording my video this evening I took the dogs for a walk and my pup Mercy decided to sniff these daisies – how perfect was that?!
Speaking of white daisies – for this one I went classic - just Whisper White cardstock for the flower. For the leaves I used the Leaf Punch with the Old Olive vellum – which punches out a branch with three leaves, I cut the leaves apart and used one on each of the cards.
For the inside of the card I stamped the stem and other daisy image from the stamp set in Smoky Slate.
I punched two medium daisies to build each flower. Then I adhered the flowers to a 1" square of white cardstock. The leaf was adhered to the backside of the white square so that it did not show through the petals as much (watch the video below for more details). The Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in Whisper White is just perfect with the daisies – maybe because it is light and airy like the vellum?!
Here is this evening's Facebook Live tutorial for this card. Be sure to visit my Facebook page to see all of my videos!

I also played around with a version where I stamped the daisy on the vellum with VersaMark and embossed it with white embossing powder – another fun version to try!
