Two fun project for you today! Check out the video at the bottom of this post from my Facebook Page for step by step instructions!
This little gift card holder is a slider…
Just pull on the twine to reveal the card and….
…cash or…
a gift card!
This project was made with the new Sailing Home Bundle and Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper – I love the versatility of this gorgeous bundle and paper!! So great for masculine, nautical, summer, and lakeside projects! The gift card "slider" mechanism was designed by fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Terri Gaines, you can view her version with Everything is Rosy here.
I am seriously in love with this suite of products!!! Love, love, love all of it!
The flower was die cut from the matching paper – there is also a stamp that matches the this die so you have options. You can stamp, color and diecut the flower or just diecut one from the matching paper that is already colored, the die fits it exactly! Easy peasy! The fancy edge die also comes in the set, and not only cuts a fancy edge for you but also embosses that matching raised ridge!
I used the beautiful Champagne Foil for both the edge and the Stitched Nested Label die that is layered under the greeting. When you cut these detail dies on the foil paper all of the details really show well, and give it the look of a metal embellishment! This card was inspired by my team member Carole Baumgartner, on her version she stamped and colored the flower! Beautiful!
The card is pretty stunning but by adding a few pearls and the gorgeous new Petal Pink 5/8" Organdy Striped Ribbon it takes it over the top!!
Here is a peak at the inside of the card with more fun images from the stamp set!
Here is my Facebook Live video where I share these two projects. I make the card first, if you want go right to the gift card fast forward to the 19 minute mark. Be sure to like my page so that you are notified the next time I go live, which is Tuesday evenings at 7:30 CST. Thank you for joining me tonight! Be sure to check out all of the new suites and bundles on my website here! Happy exploring!
