The January 2022 Suestampfield Crafternoon Creative Escape featured this amazing Freestanding Fun Fold Card
Fancy fun fold time! I love a good fun fold and this Freestanding Fun Fold card met all my favorite criteria for a fun fold. Easy to do, looks impressive, and endless possibilities to decorate! I have a video tutorial for you today, and an option to purchase a written tutorial bundle for all of these seven projects.
The card pulls open to reveal the inside message and, if you choose, some more pretty paper. And the best part?! It stands for display! I created these cards for a new virtual class that I’m starting called Suestampfield Crafternoon Creative Escape. Customers who placed a qualifying order with me last month received a make-n-take packet in the mail from me to make one of the cards so they can learn the fold. Then they are invited to an exclusive video where we make the project and I share 4 other cards made with the same fun fold. Following the class they receive a PDF tutorial with dimensions, step by step instructions, photos, and the supplies needed for all 5 cards.
This beautiful card features the Love & Happiness Hybrid Bundle, and was the make-n-take packet that customers who placed a qualifying order last month received in the mail.
So lovely when opened! And it stands for display! Stamped images are not included in the packet per Stampin’ Up! policy, the packets had a blank label, and blank small heart so that the recipients can stamp their own greetings.
Change up the paper and this same card becomes a stunning Wedding or Anniversary card! I love the versatility of the Love & Happiness Hybrid Bundle!
Elements can also be added to the panel on the right, which make a lovely surprise when the card is opened. (This is a BONUS project, the class tutorial includes five cards, but I added 2 extra for this first class).
Such a fun fold! Let’s look at more samples!
The adorable critters in the Easter Friends stamp set make for a darling card – Easter, spring, baby, or a young child’s birthday, so many options!
The sentiments in Easter Friends are wonderful!
This card shows off some of the amazing Sale-a-bration sets that you can get for FREE* right now with a qualifying order: the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper (again! Can you tell I love this versatile paper?!), the Amazing Otters Stamp Set, and…
…some of the fun sentiments from the free* Special Moments stamp set on the inside! (Second BONUS project, the class tutorial includes five cards, but I added 2 extra for this first class).
Of course, I couldn’t forget St. Patrick’s Day! I created this cute Shamrock with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Bundle, the A Wish For Everything stamp set, and…
…the FREE* Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper! Love this bright, happy paper!
Of course, I could not leave out my beloved Flowering Tulips bundle!
And the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper makes for a fun, happy surprise inside the card! *Free Sale-a-bration items can be earned with purchases over $50, before tax and shipping. To see the full selection of Sale-a-bration choices, click HERE.

For future Crafternoon events, including the February 2022 event, the video tutorial will be exclusive to those who have placed a $50 order with me this month (before tax and shipping) or who have purchase the tutorial option.

Wonderful Cards! Love your videos, too. 🙂
Thank you for your kind words Judy!
Hello, I love all your cards. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Such a fun fold! Happy creating!
Beautiful cards
Thank you Wanda!
Beautiful cards! What is the size of the finished card?
The finished card when closed is the standard 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Standard in the US I should say!
Thanks for making this one public! I love the cards- especially the tulip one! If you lay the heart die in the folder then put your CS over it you can easily die cut and emboss at the same time. The die fits in the empty channel super easily and I have not had any problem with it shifting. 🙂
What a great tip! Thank you!
Love the fold. I also love your warm jacket with the fur rimmed jacket so cozy
Thank you Dot! It is super warm!
