New Fun Fold! Quadruple Z Fold Cards Tutorial | June Crafternoon 2025!

A brand new fun fold card design that folds flat, fits a standard envelope, and delivers major wow!

I’m so excited to share this month’s featured fun fold card from Crafternoon — the Quadruple Z Fold! This brand-new fold is one I created just for the June Crafternoon Creative Escape! It folds flat to mail in a regular envelope, but pops out into a beautiful 3D card that stands for display. Below is a free video tutorial below with the basic measurements for the main card base and instructions for assembling the card. I have created five different versions made with a variety of Stampin’ Up! products to spark your creativity. If you would like detailed instructions, all the measurements, and step-by-step photos for how to recreate each card, the full step-by-step PDF tutorial is available for purchase.

As always, thank you for making and sending handmade cards — you truly are making the world a kinder place, one card at a time.

The Quadruple Z Fold Card is a beautiful canvas to show off all your favorite embossing folders, stamps, pretty papers, and die cuts. But the real wow is when you open it…

It has extra details inside and stands beautifully for display! Get ready to wow your friends and family with this fold – but don’t let them in on the secret that it is quite easy to make!

Floral Impressions Quadruple Z Fold Card

The version features some of the products from the Floral Impressions Suite and the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid 3D Embossing Folder. Customers who placed a $50 product order (after rewards credits and before tax & shipping) in my Stampin’ Up! online store in May received a packet in June to create this lovely card alongside me in the video tutorial.

I love the dimension on these cards when they are open!

In this “top down” view you can better see the construction of the Quadruple Z Fold card.

For this style of card the “inside” message is on the back of the card. The font in the Impressions Abloom stamp set is so elegant, yet clear and easy to read!

The card easily flattens to slide into a standard envelope! Finished size for all the Quadruple Z Fold cards is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and they all fit in a standard A2 Envelope.

A few simple pearls make the perfect finishing touch.

Coneflower Celebration Quadruple Z Fold Card

The extra dimension on this version of the Quadruple Z Fold card is amazing because of the incredible die cuts in the Coneflower Celebration bundle! I seriously don’t think it is possible to make an ugly card with this stunning bundle! The Woven Textures Designer Series Paper adds beautiful texture. The embossing folder is a sneak peek of the new Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder that will be available in the online store on July 1st!

In this close up photo you can see that the middle layer of the flower is stamped, which also adds dimension. I have step-by-step photos for you in the PDF Tutorial so that you can recreate this card!

On the back, in addition to a sentiment from the Coneflower Celebration stamp set, I added another small piece of the Woven Textures DSP.

The special flower die in the Coneflower Celebration is designed to be folded in half which adds lovely dimension to the flower and makes it “fluffy”!!

Are you ready to see more Quadruple Z Fold Cards? Meet the Sweet Jar Quadruple Z Fold Card!

The Sweet Jar bundle makes the CUTEST cards!! I added the sprinkle stamp to make these into chocolate chip cookies, but if I had stamped them in a different color they could be candies instead! The bundle includes the Sweet Jar stamp set and the Sweet Jar Builder Punch!

The sentiments in this stamp set are so cleverly thought out. The smaller font is a separate stamp that says “sending a little          your way”, and then there are different stamps that can be added to the middle of that sentiment. I went with “sweetness”!  I love the delicate detail from the Eyelet 3D Embossing folder on this card!

For the back of the card I went with the simple birthday sentiment and the cute candle stamps. The flames are a separate stamp so that you can stamp them in a different color!

The gorgeous Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper is so pretty on the front of the card and…

I used the flip side of that same pattern for the extra detail on the inside of the Z strips! It has pretty gold swirls that coordinate with the gold lid on the jar and the gold Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems.

Jar of Joy Quadruple Z Fold Card!

Wait, what?!! Christmas already?? Well, why not?? Let’s call it Christmas in July (almost). This is a sneak peek of a new stamp set called Jar of Joy that is coming out on July 1st in the online store. And it just HAPPENS to match the Sweet Jar Builder Punch, so I could not resist!!

Cookies again – but this time gingerbread – yum! The set is a two step so you get the two colors. I walk you through it in the step-by-step tutorial. The Peppermints embellishments are the perfect accent!

On the back of the card I stamped another jar and put the sentiment inside. Then punched out a pretty red lid!

I again used the Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper – just like I did on the Sweet Jar card, but this time I went with the red patterns instead of pink.

Perfectly Pears Quadruple Z Fold Card!

Another sneak peek! The Gorgeous Painterly Pears Suite will be available on July 1st! I love that the Perfectly Pears dies cut out images from the paper. I die cut the large pear, the stem with leaves, and the cluster of flowers! I “peared” it with the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid 3D Embossing folder – the same folder that I used for the Floral Impressions card.

The floral patterns in the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper are stunning!   I walk you through the process to make this card, step-by-step in the detailed PDF tutorial.

Great sentiments in the Perfectly Pears stamp set! I added a strip of the pretty paper to the backside as well.

The background of this pattern is Petal Pink – so soft and pretty!

The Low Profile Sparkle Dots are also part of the suite and add a nice bit of “bling” to the card!
