About Me

Susan Campfield

Why I do what I do:
Stamping and creativity have always been my outlet for stress relief.  I love to sit down at my stamp desk and create – the stress just melts away!  As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I have the privilege of helping others get in touch with their creative side. I love sharing creative ideas and my love of stamping with others.  In turn I get so much love and inspiration back from all of you!  When I create a hand stamped project, I’m making it to give to someone else to brighten their day, and that just makes me feel good.  I love spreading kindness throughout the world, one card at a time!

Customer Service: When you purchase Stampin’ Up! products from me you don’t only get some of the highest quality paper crafting supplies on the market, you also get my customer service and my knowledge of all things stamp related.  I have been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator since 1997 and was an active stamper for several years prior to that – I have a wealth of knowledge to share!

“Stampfield Stars” demonstrators: I am blessed to be the leader of a fabulous group of stampers who have become demonstrators through me.  In turn, I get to be their coach and cheerleader as they build their own Stampin’ Up! niche – whether their goal is to be a hobby demonstrator and get the discount on their own purchases; a part-time demonstrator who sells to friends and family; or a “career” demonstrator who works this business full time. As part of the Stampin’ Up! family, team members receive great demonstrator discounts and benefits.  Join by purchasing the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Starter Kit.

My History: I was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA.  After graduating from the University of Iowa, I moved to the Minneapolis area in Minnesota and have been here ever since!  I share my home with my wonderfully supportive husband Mike, and our sweet son Joe joined our family in 2001. We share our home with several four-legged friends. Our Whippets, (a smaller version of a greyhound) bring a lot of unconditional love and joy to our home.

My previous jobs in the corporate world have all been in customer service and that is still my number one focus.  In 1997 I decided to join Stampin’ Up! and turn my hobby that I loved into a job that I loved.  I was worried that my beloved hobby would become like “work” to me but fortunately that has not been the case!  I count my blessings of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator every day!  It has given me the opportunity to build lifelong friendships with stampers – customers, members of my Stampfield Stars team, and my other fellow demonstrators.  Being a Stampin’ up! demonstrator has also let me spend valuable time with my family by working from home.  I love what I do!!

  1. Susan I love your work.. I found you accidentally’ searching for the Irresistible Butterflies and there you were with the wonderful cards done with the butterflies, sponging, etc…Your work is so beautifully done and I appreciate that I can learn from it..
I too have a ‘Bella’, who is a black Shih Tzu, love her to pieces… I also lived in St Paul, right over the Mendota Bridge, perhaps before you were even born, 1959-1963. Our second son Michael was born there and I to this day, tho’ have lived in Florida now 39 years, love Minnesota…
The WHITE squirrel along your walk, truly fascinated me…Having never seen one, tho’ in upper Michigan they have many black squirrels that I love when we’ve been there….
Just wanted to say hello and thank you again for your butterfly idea, of which I’m going to make one this aftenoon……
    Happy Stamping, Betsey Gould

  2. You were the demonstrator at a party I went to in Maple Grove in the 90’s. You were an awesome teacher. I found one of your cards on Pinterest and I saved it. I actually recognized your name. I’m still a hobby stamper in retirement. Congratulations to you on your success with Stamping Up.

  4. I found you while I was looking for inspiration and you provided plenty! I loved the Faux Step Card so much, I am planning to use it in my next class. Your style of design really appeals to me and while I often take detailed notes of cards I love, by subscribing and getting your worksheets, it will save me lots of time. Thanks!

  5. Sue, would you allow me to order SU products through you by phone? I have been a stamper for about ten years, I do not use PayPal or use credit card on computer. I am 93 years old and still enjoy stamping. I find your offers to clients to be quite generous and would like to participate.

  6. Hello Sue. I hope it’s okay that referred to you as Sue or do you prefer Susan? I have been watching and enjoying your replays. I like how you get everyone involved in the cards evolution. I have loved your cards and today subscribed to your news letter and project sheets. I am from London, Canada and hope you are able to send things out of the states.
