Happy Whip-It Wednesday (but on a Tuesday, I'm ahead for a change)! Today's fast, "whip-it" project is a gift that I made for a gift exchange at my Stampfield Stars holiday party last evening. See those flowers? That is a beautiful designer series paper coming on January 6th in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog!
The shadow box frame from the local craft store, is 5" x 7". I cut out a 5" x 7" portion of the paper that I wanted to frame.
The words come from the Banner Blessings stamp set that is available to order NOW – this beautiful set came out just last month. I stamped on Whisper White card stock and cut it out with the Apothecary Accents Framelits. I colored them with two BRAND NEW sets of Blendabilities – Soft Sky and Pink Pirouette! I added the Subltles Designer Buttons and popped it up on dimensionals.
The finishing touch was the NEW White Jute Ribbon attached to the frame with hot glue. I LOVE this beautiful ribbon! It is very stiff so it makes a beautiful bow that holds it shape well.
Some of the gifts for the exchange at the party.
Here is a close up of my gift all wrapped up – I used the Festive Designer Kraft Paper Rolls which are on sale right now for just $6.99!! I embellished my package with the Cherry Cobbler 1" Sheer Linen Ribbon and a star from the Many Merry Stars Kit.
Yummy food too!
And lots of fun! Like this dice game where I give away tons of Stampin' Up! product! Love my Stampfield Stars demonstrators – they are such lovely people!! I would love to have you join our group of passionate paper crafters! Click here to find out more!
This was the gift that I was lucky enough to receive in the exchange! This frame was made by Anita Dickson - it is so beautiful! Anita used the Sprial Flower Die and the and the Petite Petals stamp set and punch! I had to add a picture of our Whippet Wednesday mascot of course – Miss Bella the Whippet. (This photo of Bella was taken by the wonderful dog photographer, Laurie Erickson.). Thanks for joining me today!
