The Peek-Through Diamonds Fun Fold is the featured project for February Crafternoon and marks a special milestone — the 50th Crafternoon fold. This card design features pleated accordion folds on both sides and a “missing middle” on the front that’s bridged by three layered diamond panels. That open center creates a peek at the patterned paper inside, giving the card a shadow-box feel while still folding flat for mailing. It’s a fun, geometric design that looks impressive front the front, has an additional decorated panel when opened, yet is easy to make.

Lovely Blossoms Peek-Through Diamonds Fun Fold Card
This beautiful card made with the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper and the Lovely Arrangements bundle is the featured project for the February Crafternoon video. On the front of the card I also used the Three Banner Punch from the Banner Sayings Bundle for the sentiment. All of these products are part of the Online Exclusive offerings.

One of the things I love about this design is how pretty the inside of the card is! So many options for decorating!
Such a calm, peaceful combination of colors in this pretty paper!
In this tabletop view, you can easily see the accordion or pleated sides of the card and the inside panel that you can “peek” at through the diamonds on the front of the card.
The card easily flattens to slide into a standard envelope. Finished size for all the Peek-Through Diamonds fun fold cards is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and they all fit in a standard A2 Envelope.

The peek-through panel is the lighter side of the Pretty Peacock Two-Tone cardstock, also embossed with the Soft Waves 3D embossing folder. I am loving how the Two-Tone papers have a lighter side, sometimes the lighter version matches better with the pretty papers.
The extra “bling” on the front is from the Shades of Green Hexagons – they are the perfect complement for this pattern of the Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper!

Yum! I could almost eat this card — it looks that delicious. The pretty patterned papers and greetings come from the Homemade Sweetness Suite. Inside the card we have some lovely jam and another cute sentiment. Accented with a strawberry embellishment.
The gingham pattern that peeks through to the front from the inside is the perfect complement to the berries. It gives the card a homey, cozy farmhouse feeling. In the PDF tutorial I walk you through, step-by-step how to make this pretty card.
The diamonds form almost a lattice that work well with the gingham and makes me think of pie!

And One More Sneak Peek! Delicate Dreams Peek-Through Diamonds Fun Fold Card
One more sneak peek for you! The Delicate Dreams suite is SO gorgeous! The Designer Series Paper has copper accents so I paired it with the copper paper from the Textured Metallics 12″ x 12″ paper and the Stone & Vine 3D embossing folder.
Inside the card is a pretty linen pattern from the Delicate Dreams Designer Series Paper. The copper accents in the paper are hard to capture in a photo, but the brown leaves in the pretty paper are actually copper.
For the inside of the card I went with peaceful and elegant. These stems in the patterned paper all have copper lines in them – so pretty when the light catches them.
In this close up you can really see the amazing detail of the Stone & Vine embossing folder – lovely!
I love the elegant feel of this paper – especially the side with the copper accents.
The Peek-Through Diamonds Fun Fold card stands out because of its layered diamond openings that create an almost lattice-like look on the front. That repeating peek-through detail adds built-in dimension, while still giving you plenty of room to showcase beautiful pretty papers underneath.
