Guidelines:

  • Stampin’ Up! products only. If we don’t sell it, do not use it. Exception, common household items like paperclips and staples are fine, and, of course, treats.
  • Current products only. NO exceptions.
  • You can use the Big Shot or create your own.  Please include a pattern if you design your own.
  • Boxes: If possible, boxes should be swapped flat and un-assembled so that we can get them home in one piece.  Sticky strip should be in place so that can easily be assembled when we get home from convention.  Have an assembled item ready to show at the swap.
  • No specific theme other then 3D treat holder but holidays are always super useful and well received, such as: Summer, Halloween, Back to School, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.
  • High quality work is expected. This means:
  1. STRAIGHT and precise cuts.
  2. Clean stamping – NO smudges or smears.
  • At least 1 or 2 layers, in addition to the base.

◦                     This can include DSP wraps, punched images, etc.

  • A minimum of 1 embellishment, so dress it up !

◦                     Sequins, SU! Clothespins, Smooch spritz, glitter, ribbons & bows, pearls or rhinestones, buttons, tags, candy dots, etc.

  • This is a TREAT HOLDER swap! Include a treat (candy, gum, crackers, etc.) as part of your project.
  • If it does not compromise your project, present your swap in or include a cello, Ziploc, or plastic bag to protect your project.
  • Please include the following information on a separate piece of paper. NO labels stuck to the project. You may place a label on the plastic bag. A post-it note inside the bag is great.
  1. Your Name
  2. Your Group #
  3. Pattern if needed to recreate your project.

A recipe or instructions are NOT required, unless your project is so clever and interesting we may want to know how to recreate it.

Everyone appreciates excellent work, so please take your time and put your best effort into your projects.

CASE-ing:

  • Please design your own work.  This can be a design you did years ago but have now updated with new stamps and new papers.
  • If you CASE, please include the original designer’s name on your label.
  • Please contact the original designer for approval, if you are casing in full. This is common courtesy.
