Happy Whip-It Wednesday! This is the day where I show you fast projects that you can "Whip" out when you are in a rush! I call it Whip-It Wednesday because they are fast projects, and because my dog is a Whippet! Today we are using the Happy Hello Simply Sent kit:
Here is Bella showing you the kit. It makes 8 cards, they are die cut with that fun edge and come with really cute envelopes. Four of the cards are preprinted with the words "Hello" and four are blank. This is what they look like when you make them up:
This one actually did not have any words (one of the four "blank") so I stamped the words "Oh, Hello" from the Oh, Hello set in Daffodil Delight. I wanted to use this cards tonight for my free make and take night but I also wanted to use the Dress Up Framelits. So I thought, why not use both?! I remembered that the new Tea For Two Designer Paper had some paper with yellow and blue so I gave that a try. The pattern was PERFECT for the dress framelit – it came out just like a blouse with a floral skirt! Here is how I laid out the framelit to get the effect:
One of my guests that joined us tonight, CindySue, used the bone folder to add some "curves" to the dress. I liked it so much that I had to do that to my card after everyone left!
Love this card! And it was super fast! And, did I tell you the best part?! The Happy Hello Simply Sent kit is FREE during Sale-a-bration with a $50 order!! Woo-hoo! Here is a list of supplies so you can recreate this fun card!
