I love this Wetlands stamp set – it's great for so many different events and has some perfect stamps to use on masculine cards.
The sandpipers with the delicate sponging seemed so summery to me! We created this card at my Breakfast Club event last week. We tore the paper and used it to "mask off" part of the card. We then used stamping sponges to apply the various ink colors. Join us for the next Breakfast Club on Friday, August 23rd at 9:30 a.m. Two cards, converstaion, and coffee – just $5! The colors we used on this card were Island Indigo (greeting, water, sandpipers), Soft Sky (sky), and Crumb Cake (sand and grass).
The goose stamp would probably be more appropriate for Minnesota – we don't have a lot of Sandpipers here but last week when walking the dog I saw this waterbird and he reminded me a bit of the sandpiper! He was certainly stalking some tasty treat in the water! Anyone know what kind of bird this is? (As you can tell, I'm not much of a birder!)
I want to thank demonstrator Angie Leach, I was totally inspired by her lovely card on Pinterest!
Happy Stamping everyone!
