The Stampin' Up! Getaway to San Diego was wonderful! My son and I have many new memories that will last us for years. Our last full day was amazing – we went to the Legoland Amusement Park in Carlsbad California just north of San Diego.
The park was clean, well-maintained, and really fun! The rides were not too scary (I'm a wimp when it comes to rides) so I was willing to go on most of them! Waiting in a long line for a ride? They have Legos set up to entertain the kids! We actually had very few lines that we had to deal with, the park was not very busy considering it was a Saturday. The most amazing part was the incredibly detailed and HUGE Lego creations through out the park. Here is New York (I told Joe he looks like Godzilla).
And they had reproductions of scenes from every Star Wars film – extremely detailed. This is the battle scene on Naboo.
Legoland also has a water park which was a lot of fun at the end of the day.
Then we headed to Oceanside, California to a restaurant called Ruby's Diner which is way at the end of the pier so some great scenery of surfers and people fishing off the pier.
Besides the great view – the milkshakes were delicious!
When we got back to the hotel there was a pillow gift from Stampin' Up! waiting for me – a box full of stampin' supplies! Woo hoo!
The trip was fabulous. A big thank you to Stampin' Up! for allowing me the opportunity to earn these amazing vacations! Thanks for letting me share my trip with you!
