Love, love this Snow Day stamp set!! I used this set to make the cute little Snuggets, but this card shows you more that you can do with this great set! So fun to "build your own snowman" with this stamp set! Here is the inside:
We used the Pop 'n Cuts die for the base – add a few score lines and it makes a great self-closing gift card holder! We started with a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and cut it with the Pop 'n Cuts card base die. Then we laid it in the Simply Scored Scoring Tool so that the curve is to the right with the long edge across the top. Score at 1", 3", and 7 1/2".
The gift card goes in the pocket – I have a Caribou Coffee gift card in mine. The single stamp "A Gift For You" is perfect for this gift card holder – and it matches the Label Bracket Punch from the Holiday Catalog! And since I seem to be addicted to their Chai Tea – it is pretty appropriate for me!
I got this idea at the Stmapin' Up! convention this summer from Stampin' Up! CFO Shelli Gardner's demonstration. I simplified my version quite a bit so that we could make it at the Big Shot Class. And what could be simpler then the Old Olive Simply Styled Embellishments?! Pre-tied bows on a clip – ready to go!!
