If you want your card to say "wow", get the Expression Thinlit Dies for the Big Shot Machine! Oh, and add some Gold Foil Paper to double that "wow"! We made these gorgeous cards at my Holiday Card Express Class. I have some great tips for you on using these awesome dies – check out the short video farther down in this post.
The "stylish" background is made with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder, which is layered on the Brushed Gold card stock.
The "Christmas" image is actually a stamp that reads "Happy Christmas" from the More Merry Messages stamp set. We used the Word Window punch to punch out just the "Christmas" portion. Can you guess that Cherry Cobbler is my favorite Stampin' Up! color?! We used the Cherry Cobbler card stock, seam binding, and ink pad.
One of my favorite things about these two cards is that we only cut the "Merry" image out once – and we saved the "scrap" that we cut it out of and used that on the 2nd card.
Tips: Two items will make these Expression Thinlits easy to work with. Wax paper and Mulitpurpose Adhesive Sheets.
