Happy New Year! We made this card at my Breakfast Club event yesterday! I was greatly inspired by a Christmas card I received from one of my Stampfield Stars Demonstrators, Carol Rosengren. I adapted the card to make it into a "Happy New Year" card.
The Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder is about to leave us because it is in the Holiday Catalog – make sure to order yours by January 2nd! This elegant folder adds a professional look to any card. I punched the star punch from the Merry Minis Punch Pack out of the Winter Frost Designer Paper – I used the Paper Stack for this card but you could also use the 12" x 12" Winter Frost Specialty Paper. The other stars are punched from the Silver Glimmer Paper.
The greeting is from the wonderful, all purpose set, Teeny Tiny Wishes. It is stamped in Pool Party on Whisper White and punched out with the Word Window Punch. The layered piece is punched out of Silver Glimmer Paper with the Modern Label Punch.
The inside of the card uses a stamp from the set Delightful Dozen. The stamp has the words "Way to Go" in parentheses below the word Cheers – so we stamped it on a scrap piece of white and just punched out the word "Cheers". The Pool Party marker added the string for the hanging star.
