This adorable snowman from the Snow Day stamp set is hiding some treats…and some kisses! Here is the inside:
This is one of the projects that we are making in the Christmas Giftables class! Because it opens like a book, it reminds me of the Lifesaver books we used to always get as kids from Santa. The "book" is made with Whisper White card stock cut to 3" x 5" and scored on the long side at 2 1/8" and 2 7/8". I got the poem and the measurements from Rochelle W.
The Snow Day stamp set is perfect for this project! I love the versatility of this little set! We stamped the body in Soft Sky ink, the scarf and heart are in Real Red, the nose is Pumpkin Pie, and the face and buttons are stamped in StazOn Jet Black. The tummy is punched out with the 1" Circle Punch so that you can see the Tic Tacs inside! We used the Scallop Trim border punch to embellish the edges and attached the Tic Tac container with sticky strip.
These treats would be fun to hand out to family and friends this winter! Pick up your Snow Day set here in wood mount or here in clear mount. But hurry – this little guy is in the Holiday catalog and will be gone soon!
