Today I wanted to share a picture tutorial for this fun closure made with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch!

The punch can make a pretty tag:
But today I want to show you how to make the closure:
Step 1: Place a 1" wide post-it note on the bottom right corner of a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of card stock.
Step 2: Wiggle your card stock into the punch to jump the paper stop. Your cardstock will go up, over the stop, and then curve down into the punch. Slide it all the way in.
Step 3: Punch and remove the card stock. It should look like this now.
Step 4: Flip your card stock over, so you are on the backside of where you were just working. Place another 1" post it note in the bottom right corner. See photo below.
Step 5: Repeat wiggling the card stock. Insert it all the way and punch.
Step 6: Use the Stampin' trimmer to score one of the scallop tag punches. See below:
I find it easier to score the whote piece – we will be cutting off the top and bottom pieces in the next step.
Step 7: Cut off the excess pieces. You can do this with scissors and follow the score line, or carefully do it with the cutting blade – just don't cut off the scored scaloped tag! Then cut off the rectangles on the other side.
Step 8: Slide the scored scallop tag side off to your left on the Stampin' Trimmer. Line the straight edge up with the 4 1/4" mark and score. Thanks to Tanya Bell for the closure idea and Brenda Cardinal for the post-it note tip!
Now we decorate it up all cute and you are done!
