The birth of a baby is a wonderful thing to celebrate! Our friend from church had her baby just over a week ago – we were headed over to visit so I grabbed my Zoo Babies set to make a special card for baby Henry!
I love this little lion stamp that comes in the set – so sweet! I stamped him twice and used the 7/8" scallop punch to punch out his head and attached it to the other lion with a dimensional. The background is embossed with the Alphabet Press embossing folder.
This card has a circle "window" in it that I punched with the 1 3/8" circle punch. So the lion is actually on the inside of the card and peeks through the window on the front as well. This inside greeting is from the "Trust God" stamp set.
I used the same Zoo Babies stamp set when I made these Circus Animal Treat Boxes last summer. You can see that post and video here.
I made one of the Circus Animal Lion Boxes for a package topper for baby Henry's gift. I love to coordinate the package with the handmade card!
In the little box I put a pair of baby socks and and stuffed giraffe rattle.
This was the best gift of all though….here is my 12 year old son Joe holding baby Henry! Thank you for stopping by today!
