Happy Whip-It Wednesday! Here is a quick and easy…and tasty project you can make for your Fourth of July celebration! This candy rocket is a roll of Lifesavers dressed up with a Hershey's kiss on the end.
The rocket flame is a leaf framelit from the Flower Fair Framelits. I cut it out of the Red Glimmer paper for that "rocket's red glare" look!
The "rocket" is wrapped with stars and stripes from two patterns in the Bright Designer Series Paper Stack – Pacific Point and Real Red. Cut at 3 ½” x 3 ¼” (Pacific Point), and 1 ¼” x 3 ¼” (Red), wrap around the candy and secure with Sticky Strip. The stars are from the Be The Star stamp set with Whisper White Craft Ink on the Pacific Point card stock.
The "Celebrate" image comes from the versatile And Many More set. "July", "4", and "th" stamps are all from the Project Life Day To Day Photopolymer stamp set. I mount all the stamps next to each other on a clear block and stamp it in one go.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the weekly deals in the store and don't forget about the Buy 3 Get 1 Free Designer Paper Special that is going on this month!
Have a wonderful Fourth of July holiday! I will leave you with one of Bella the Whippet's favorite activities: squirrel watching (well, she would prefer squirrel chasing actually)
