It's Blog Hop Time! This month our theme is "Spring Has Sprung" and I'm excited to share this sweet little Easter chick project with you! The video tutorial is below and the supply list is at the end of this post.
We made this cute little chick at my Easter Treat Holder class yesterday – the class attendees had a lot of fun doing this project! Does the pattern look familiar?!
It's the very same pattern that I used for last week's St. Patrick's Day project! Just a few little changes!
The adorable chick is from the For Peep's Sake – we used this cute set for all our treat projects. Watch my blog for the next week to see the rest of the projects that we made! The "egg" is punched from the Subtles Designer Paper Stack – the Soft Sky pattern. The video for the St. Patrick's version is below – to make the chick version please note the adaptations that I have listed below the video.
NOTE: Make the following changes to the above design for the Easter version. Use the 1" CIRCLE PUNCH to punch both the window and the hole in the base. This is because the Ferrero eggs are smaller then the Ferrero Rocher round truffles. The 1" Circle Punch does not reach into the center of the base – punch it closer to the window so that you can see the egg better.
This is what is inside!
The Soft Sky card stock and the beautiful Soft Sky seam binding say "spring" to me!
