Happy Whip-It Wednesday! Time to whip out some quick and easy projects. Today I wanted to show you more shapes you can make with the Note Tag Punch – like this shape on the card above made with the One Tag Fits All stamp set! Last week I showed you a different shape, click here to see that. Today I'm going to show you how to make two more shapes! To get the shape on the above card….
first, I started with a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" square of card stock….
then I slid the Note Tag punch in as far as it would go and punched.
I then rotated the card stock, lined the punch up with the opening, and punched again.
Rotate again, line up with the opening and punch a third time.
I thought the shape looked a bit like a fishbowl so I couldn't resist stamping this card!
Here is a close up!
But, guess what?! We are not done yet! Rotate the punch a fourth time and you get…
a great window frame that works for MANY images! Like Sheltering Tree….
or the One Tag Fits All set again!
I learned about this fun technique from one of my Stampfield Stars members, Mary Kiley – she shared it with our group at our Stamp Share in January when she showed us this card. I was so enamored by the possibilities – I couldn't wait to try it out! I love my Stampfield Stars team of passionate paper crafters and the wonderful ideas they share! We would love to have you join our group – you can learn more about that here.
Checking in with our Whip-it Wednesday mascot, Bella the Whippet! Bella and I have been doing a lot of walking – my goal is 10,000 steps a day, so we are doing lots of exploring! This was at a park near my house – spring in Minnesota is beautiful! Hope you are having a wonderful spring! Don't forget to visit the store here to check out the retiring items (big sales), the clearance rack, the weekly deals, and to pick up your Note Tag Punch!
