Happy Whip-it Wednesday! Another simple project today – easy to whip out in large quantities for a wedding, shower, or birthday event! This was one of the five make and take projects I created for my Stampfield Stars Stamp Share a week ago. We had SO much fun sharing and stamping together!
To create the holder, I used some Cucumber Crush paper from the 2015-2017 In ColorDesigner Series Paper Stack. The pattern I chose is polka dots on one side, script on the other! I cut it and scored it as shown in the pattern above.
I used the Banner Triple Punch on the ends. I inserted one end, punched, then turned it and did the same on the other end. I love this punch – three punches in one: 1", 1 1/2", and 2". I stapled the two ends to form the treat holder.
Now the fun part – time to decorate!! The flower from the Birthday Blossom set perfectly coordinates with the Pansy Punch! I used VersaMark Ink to stamp the flower on Watermelon Wonder card stock because I was already using my Watermelon pad on another project!
For the finishing touches I used White Perfect Accents embellishments in the center – these have adhesive on the back and in a package you get 25 of each size: 3/16", 1/4", and 5/16". The final touch (other then sliding in the Hershey's Nugget) was the Cucumber Crush 1" Dotted Lace Trim!
Let's check in with our Whip-It Wednesday mascot, Bella the Whippet! On our walk she spied a white squirrel. Bella LIVES to chase squirrels. Here she is "stalking it"…..
Sadly, once again, the squirrel escaped up a nearby tree, and even though Bella tries, she is just not able to climb the trees like they can! Thank you for stopping in today – happy stamping!
