Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop! Do you have some friends and family with birthdays coming up soon? Need some cards – but short on time? No worries – time for some super simple stamping and you will be all set to go!
First grab a package of Stampin' up! Designer Series Paper – I'm using the beautiful English Garden paper today. Then I cut it (What?! Cut that pretty paper?! It's okay, don't hoard it, use it and share it!!). For these cards I cut the designer paper at 4"x 5 1/4".
Then I cut some Whisper White card stock in half (5 1/2" x 8 1/2") and folded it to form my 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card base. And I cut a piece 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" for my greeting.
Time to stamp!! Grab a nice birthday stamp set, I'm using one of my favorites, Birthday Blossoms. Attach the designer paper to the card base, add a pretty ribbon, and pop the greeting on with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Ta da!! If you would to add some additional "pizazz" to your cards use the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and the Envelope Liner framelits to make a gorgeous envelope for your gorgeous card.
And just like that, you've got a pile of beautiful cards. Think of the smiles these cards will bring when your friends know you are thinking of them on their special day! Full supplies are listed at the bottom of this post – let's make some cards!! First, check out the rest of the hop so that you are full to the brim with birthday cheer!

Love your simple elegance. This is a great way to not only send a card but to create a stack of cards to give as a gift. Great project!
