Whip-It Wednesday is back! Today's fun project is perfect for Thanksgiving table decor or a great gift for a friend or teacher and uses some great Stampin' Up! products. Best of all, this project is quick and easy to "whip out" using the Square Pillow Box die and the Leaflet Framelits! Full supplies are at the bottom of this post.
The advantage of Framelits and Thinlets over traditional big dies is that they make a fantastic window in cards and boxes! Inside our box I filled one of the Stampin' Up! medium cellophane bags with fall colored M&M candies – it was almost a perfect match with the Hello Honey and Cherry Cobbler card stocks.
For a little extra "texture" I used the Woodland Textured Embossing Folder after I cut out my box.
Hello Honey Washi Tape, from the 2014-2016 In Color Washi Tape collection was the perfect thing to seal up my baggie and keep my M&M's in place!
The greeting on the tag comes from the A Little Something stamp set – available as a bundle with the Square Pillow Box Dies for a significant savings – click on the picture of the product below for the details. I stamped the image with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder, cut it out with one of the tag shapes from the Square Pillow Box Dies, and attached it to the project with a dimensional. The final touch was Gold Cording Trim wrapped three times around.
And here is a quick check in with our Whip-It Wednesday mascot, Bella the Whippet. We had a scary incident 2 weeks ago where Bella was attacked and bitten by another dog on our morning walk. I'm happy to report that she is almost all healed up now and doing great!
A home remodel, Stampin' Up!'s Founders Circle Trip, the above Whippet injury, and various family commitments have intervened but Whip-It Wednesday is now back! You can count on it being here every Wednesday – so stop back for more inspiration next week!
