More Halloween fun today with this cute little mummy full of goodies – check out the tutorial below! I did some minimal coloring with the Crumb Cake marker and the image is stamped on Very Vanilla card stock.
Here is a quick peek at the back of the treat holder. I used the Stampin' Up! Jar of Haunts stamp set and the Everyday Jar Framelit Dies to make this project.
Here is the side of the box – as you can see, it is deep enough to hold two mini candy bars. They are bagged up in the Stampin' Up! 2" x 8" cellophane bags and tied closed with the Kraft Rope Trim.
To make the box, start with a piece of Crumb Cake card stock that is 4” x 3 ½”. Place the 3 ½” side along the top of the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score at 1” and at 2 ½”. Rotate the piece so that the 4” side is along the top of the scoring tool and score at 1 ½” x 2 ½”. Cut up on the score line to form the tabs. Cut out a small wedge of card stock to make the box easier to assemble. Place Tear & Tape as shown above.
Turn the piece over and place two additional pieces of Tear & Tape as shown.
Pull the backing pieces off the longer strips of Tear & Tape and attach the jars as shown above. Then assemble box.
Ready to gift!! The box pattern came from Christy Fulk, thank you Christy!
