So I realized that I had made several Halloween 3D treat holders (scroll down for photos) with the Spooky Night Cat Punch in a Jack-o-lantern with the Seasonal Chums bundle but I had not made a card! Consider that oversight now remedied!!
The cat is preprinted on the Spooky Night paper and punched out with the Cat Punch. I stamped the Jack-o-lantern image from Seasonal Chums on Shimmery White card stock with Archival Basic Black ink and used the AquaPainter to color the image with Pumpkin Pie ink refill and Garden Green ink refill.
Of course the great thing about this Seasonal Chums Bundle, is that the stamp images have the front and backside of the critters. So I was able to do the backside of the pumpkin on the inside of the card (along with a cat punched out of solid black card stock).
All week long I have been posting cute projects with this fun bundle – and I'm not done yet! I have some cards that I made with the "bonus" dies that I will be sharing over the next few days!!
For the inside of the card I used another pattern of the Spooky Night Paper. This card is the same layout as…
…as this card that I did with the A Little Wild Bundle back in August- which is very similar to the Seasonal Chums Bundle. Click on the photo above for the tutorial on how to make this type of window card.
I used the Pinewood Plank Dynamic embossing folder for the front of the card. Again, a big thank you to demonstrator Amy McNeil for inspiring me to put the cat in the pumpkin!
This is one of the 3D treat holders that I did previously. Click on the photo above for details on this project.
And this is the other 3D treat holder, to learn how to make this cute little bag, click on the photo above.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy paper crafting!
