Must Have from the Holiday Catalog: Creative Inking Blog Hop

Welcome to our Creative Inking Blog Hop!  What is my "must have" from the Holiday Catalog?!

I'm sure it is no surprise to my followers that it is the Seasonal Chums Bundle!  I have been having more fun playing with this fun bundle this week – making cards, treat holders, a scrapbook page – just love the versatility of this set and the darling stamps!

Today's project is a yummy snowman soup mix of Hot Chocolate, Hershey's Kisses, and mini marshmallows.  I put the hot chocolate powder in the treat tubes – each tube holds about 1 Tablespoon so two tubes would make a cup of delicious hot cocoa!!

Of course the best part about the stamp set is that it stamps both the front and back of the character – which makes for a really cute topper!! Dimensions and supplies are at the bottom of this post.

These are the dies that come in the bundle, as you can see, the 3 main dies cut out the 3 main images in the stamp set.  But you also get all of this fun bonus dies!  I will be sharing the cards I made with these bonus dies on my blog over the next few days!

This sweet sentiment is from the Hug In A Mug stamp set – I added a sweet little heart from the Brights Enamel Shapes.

Of course I could not track down my kitchen funnel so I improvised and made my own out of wax paper to get the cocoa powder into the treat tube.

You could use fancy, flavored cocoa or make your own mix – I just went with what I had on hand – good old Swiss Miss!

I stapled the Glimmer paper at the top of the bag and covered the staple up with the snowman.

The snowman was stamped on Whisper White with Archival Black ink and colored in with Stampin' Write Markers in these colors: Real Red, Garden Green, Basic Gray, and Soft Sky (to shade the edges of the snowman).

To make this gift extra special you could gift it in a cute mug like this one covered in snowflakes.
