Sneak Peek Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Products: Creative Inking Blog Hop

Blog Hop Title

TWO fun projects for you today! Welcome to our blog hop where we get to show you some of the NEW products from the catalog that starts on January 3rd!

Hedgehugs Sure Do Love You Narrow Note Cards Stampin' Up! - 2

I'm seriously in love with this adorable little hedgehog from the Hedgehugs stamp set!!  So easy to work with and hardly any coloring involved.  Just perfect for Valentine's Day and beyond!

Isn't this saying from Hedgehugs the cutest?!  I'm using the new Narrow Note Cards and envelopes to make the project even easier! They come cut, scored and ready to go – just add a little stamping and embellishing. These note cards are a fun size: 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" and are designed to fit into the new Lots to Love Box Framelits Die (see the box below!). If you would like to mail just the note card and matching envelope, pop it into a standard envelope so that it meets the minimum U.S. postal size.  I added a narrow strip of the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper to the bottom edge of the inside of the card for some extra "love" thoughts!

I used the Sure Do Love You stamp set and the coordinating Lots To Love Box Framelits Dies to stamp and die cut my sentiments. Then I popped them up on Dimensionals.  Powder Pink and Flirty Flamingo ink pads are a great combination! I used the blender pen and a bit of ink from the lid of my Powder Pink ink pad to color in the cheeks and the flower. You can see this Painted With Love suite of products on page 19 of the Occasions Catalog and the Hedgehugs set on page 38.  If you did not receive a catalog and would like one please contact me. The full list of supplies is at the bottom of this post.

To decorate the inside flap of the narrow note card I used the 2 1/4" Circle Punch and the Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I got this great idea from fellow demonstrator Brian King – thanks Brian!

I used the same stamp sets and dies to make this cute gift box.  I found the Lots To Love Box Framelits Dies very easy to work with – just cut two and assemble them with Tear & Tape. I added a bigger section of the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper to the front – I love the metallic gold accents in this paper!

I could not find any Valentine themed treat yet at the store so I went with these yummy Peppermint Bark Snowflakes from Starbucks.  They stick out just a bit of the top of the box so I just tucked the box flap inside the box.

This time I have the little hedgehog holding the heart – cutest stamp ever!!
