Creative Inking Blog Hop: Love Always

Blog Hop Title

Spreading lots of love today in our Creative Inking Blog Hop with our “Love Always” theme! I’m sharing a sneak peek today of a bundle that will be in the upcoming Annual Catalog that starts on May 4th!

Pansy Patch Love You Much in Purple - 4 (1)

The bundle is called Pansy Patch and it is so fun! The “Love you much” sentiment is perfect to send to friends and family – who wouldn’t want to be sent a little love in the mail right now?! In the video below I have lots of tips for you on how to use the different stamps in the set to “build” the perfect flower!

Stampin' Up! Pansy Patch Love You Much in Purple - 2 (2)

I love purple – so I matched my outfit to the Highland Heather in the card for my video – even though you don’t see me on camera – lol!

I used the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder – it’s just the best for making an elegant card! Once again I find myself using the incredibly versatile Stitched Rectangle dies – they are perfect for so many cards.

I designed this pretty card for a card swap that I’m in with a group of demonstrators – all ready to mail out!

I used the Stamparatus to speed up the process for making this many cards – such a perfect tool when you need to do a lot of cards, like Christmas cards! I walk you through how to do it in the video below. And I also cover by best tips on how to stamp the images in the standard method of stamping (without a Stamparatus).

The pretty ribbon is also new, can you see the metallic thread in the photo? So shimmery and pretty in real life – it’s called Highland Heather 1/2″ Grosgrain ribbon. The gems on the card are also new, they are called Genial Gems which is just the best name ever! This card also has a new InColor. The detail on the leaves was stamped with the new Evening Evergreen, the solid part of the leaf is Garden Green. The two colors pair up perfectly!

Do you see how these two cards are a bit different? The card on the left I added the small center stamp, the card on the right I left it off for a lighter, softer look – I like them both!

In this video I show how to make this card and have lots of tips for you on how to build your pansies with stamps.
