I call this design the Tower Honeycomb Fun Fold Card because of its tall, vertical structure that stands for display — like a standing tower! This new version is a fresh vertical twist on last month’s Honeycomb Pop-Out design that stands beautifully for display yet folds flat for mailing. It’s a fun fold that delivers plenty of wow factor without being complicated to make.

Traditions of Christmas Tower Honeycomb Fun Fold Card
Customers who placed a $50 order in my online store in September received a packet in the mail to make one of these Tower Honeycomb Fun Fold Cards. These cards were created with various patterns of the gorgeous Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. This lovely paper includes gold foil accents that shimmer beautifully in the light. We paired it with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder for extra texture, Gold Foil paper for a touch of shine, and the versatile Traditional Labels bundle for the sentiment and label on the front! NOTE: The Traditions of Christmas is temporarily out of stock, it is due back the week of November 10th, 2025.
With this style of fun fold, the greeting goes on the back of the card. By adding a different pattern from the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper, the back coordinates with the front of the card.
The gold accents in the Traditions of Christmas make it a real showstopper!!
The card easily flattens to slide into a standard envelope. Finished size for all the Tower Honeycomb fun fold cards is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and they all fit in a standard A2 Envelope.
Modern Christmas Tower Honeycomb Fun Fold Card
How gorgeous is this Tower Honeycomb card?! This elegant card features the Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper paired with the Ornamental Christmas Bundle for a striking black, gold, and white palette. The large golden star appears to float in front of the card—secured to a clear window sheet that connects discreetly to the lower stabilizer—adding depth and dimension. The standing tower design makes this card perfect for display, while the metallic accents and elegant details capture the golden magic of Christmas. The Tower Honeycomb card has wonderful dimension. By placing the greeting for the back on a large die-cut panel from the Textured Notes dies and adhering it in the center, the panel stands away from the card adding extra dimension.
In these photos you can better see how the star stands away from the background with the Window Sheet. So fun!

I used one of the softer floral patterns from the Brushed with Beauty Designer Series Paper, paired with delicate die-cut leaves from the Petals of Beauty Dies. The background is embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder, and a few Pearls of Beauty add a simple finishing touch. What an elegant card! Perfect for birthdays, wedding, anniversaries or just to let someone know you are thinking of them.
On the back of the card I added a simple sentiment and a coordinating pattern from the pretty paper.

Friendly Foliage Tower Honeycomb Fun Fold Cards – two ways!
This elegant version of the Tower Honeycomb Fun Fold features a sneak peek of the upcoming Friendly Foliage Bundle, available beginning November 4th, 2025, or you can add it to your Starter Kit now. I kept the palette simple and sophisticated with Basic White cardstock, Shaded Spruce ink, and accents of metallic gold. The Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder adds rich texture in the background, while the die-cut foliage from the Friendly Foliage Bundle creates a lovely accent to the greeting.
The backside of the card has some more embossed panels and a simple message.
For the second version, I heat-embossed the images with Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder for a warm copper finish that’s perfect for autumn. A few Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems add just the right finishing touch. Both cards are a beautiful way to send a heartfelt message and are a great reminder that simple cards can be elegant!

This version of the Tower Honeycomb Fun Fold Card features another sneak peek—the upcoming Hobby Haven Suite! For this card, I used the Chalkboard Technique, which pairs beautifully with the bold greetings in the Creative Haven Bundle. The sentiment is heat-embossed in white on Basic Black cardstock to create that classic chalkboard look, then layered over the soft Pool Party tones from the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper. A few simple accents and a single rhinestone add just the right finishing touch.
