This Perfect Blend stamp set is just too cute!! What a great teacher gift for the holidays! The cup is made with a technique called "Paper Piecing" – scroll down to see how to do that technique. We made the gift card holder using the Pop n' Cuts die. For directions on the holder, including where to score, click here to go to my previous post with the Snow Day Pop n' Cuts Gift Card Holder.
Paper piecing gets stunning results – don't you think? To make the project, stamp the cup in Early Espresso Ink on Whisper White, Crumb Cake, and the Season of Style paper.
Then cut out each image, like this:
Stamp your greeting of choice on the Crumb Cake piece, then layer the patterned paper on the white, and the Crumb Cake on the pattern.
Voila! We added a Cherry Cobbler heart from the Owl Builder punch. I got this great piecing idea from demonstrator Jan Burnett.
