Every year we like to send a photo card to those family and friends who like to see our son as he grows up. So I usually combine a hand stamped card along with a photo. This year's picture of my son Joe did not leave a lot of room for stamping so I kept it very simple! In the upper left hand corner I have a Basics 3/8" Glimmer Brad - this allows the card to swing open to see a 2nd photo.
This version has a picture of our dog Bella.
And this version we had a humorous picture: our Elf On The Shelf tying up Joe and taking over his gaming controls on the computer!
The stamp set Petite Pairs was perfect for this card! On the front I stamped the image in Real Red on Whisper White and punched it out with the Word Window Punch. I layered it on the Gold or Silver Foil Sheets (depending on the brad color) and punched out with the Modern Label punch.
On the inside I also used the Perfect Pairs set – "Pair" meaning there is an image for the outside of the card and coordinating inside image. I also stamped this saying in Real Red ink on Whisper White, and punched it out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. The layered piece was Gold Foil punched with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch.
Thanks for stopping by today! Happy stamping to you!
