I wanted to share with you the pretty card that I made for my Stampfield Stars demonstrators! Of course, since it was for my Stars, I had to use the Christmas Star Stamp! This special stamp is scheduled to retire on January 31st – have you ordered yours yet?
I stamped the star in Crumb Cake ink – make sure you have the new style firm foam pads (not the felt type pads) for proper inking of this large stamp. You will also need to have the large Clear Block F for this large image which is only available in the clear mount option. The greeting is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink comes from the Joy To The World stamp set which is also slated to retire on January 2nd!
After layering the star on Cherry Cobbler card stock, I used strips of the Champagne Glimmer Paper at the top and bottom for some "sparkle". The base of the card is from Crumb Cake card stock – I love how Stampin' Up! has matching card stock and ink – it makes your cards took more professional when everything matches!
